Prism Bodywork is Now Offering Thai Yoga Massage!
What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage uses compassionate touch, facilitated stretching and acupressure to release tight muscles, improve range of motion, and release energy blockages in the body.
You may know that I traveled to Thailand two years in a row to get trained in traditional Northern Style Thai Yoga massage! The experience was incredible and very healing. I would love to share this beautiful and intimate modality with you.
Who Benefits from Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai massage is great for anyone who needs extra TLC, stretching and relaxation. Unlike traditional table massage, Thai Yoga Massage is done fully clothed on a Thai mat on the floor. It is intimate in that the practitioner gets closer physically than in traditional table massage, which creates a feeling of comfort and care for the recipient.
Most people can benefit from Thai Massage, however, you should be able to get up and down from the floor. People with severe back problems or who are unable to get up and down easily should not get Thai Massage.
